HereMy Favorite sites to get updates on the Domain Industry:
Domainnamewire.com : Great, simple website run by informed Domainers. Get quick updates and useful information. Often times, the information discussed might affect your domain names.
Domaining.com : Domaining.com aggregates domain related articles from numerous websites. If you want a "snapshot" of the latest news, Domaining.com is the place!
DnJournal: Owned and run by the legendary Domainer Ron Jackson, DnJournal gives you quality updates on sales, latest trends, and recent domaining conferences(these are especially good as DnJournal gives you thorough summaries on the topics discussused at these conferences, and what they mean for your future as a domainer!). DnJournal also puts out a weekly newsletter about the top sales in the industry. A must-visit-website for any aspiring/active domainer.
Where to Park your domain names
Sedo: Sedo boasts the largest domain aftermarket, and domain parking program. They use a google ad feed, and they've made many recent improvements to their parking program and pages.
Above.com: Use this great parking company to "triage" traffic from your domains. You can easily increase your PPCrevenue by 20-40% just by using above.com. Its a versatile program that allows you to connect all your parking profiles on different sites.
Parked: Parked is my favorite parking program by a long shot. They use a Yahoo Ad feed, and often pay more per click than parking companies using Google's Ad feed. Parked also boasts one of the best Click Through Rates(CTR) in the industry(40-70% is not uncommon). Parked's President(Donny Simonton) maintains an active presence on Namepros(A hugely popular domaining forum) and offers great customer service to members of the forum who have Parked accounts.
Namedrive: Namedrive is another competitive parking company, and many domainers have reported good Click Through Rates using Namedrive. Their website has been recently updated, and the user account layout is quite flashy and nice.
